Redesigned ONMA press passes now available for member papers

The Ohio News Media Association has redesigned our press passes for member newspapers.

The passes are available in two formats. The first is a general ONMA member pass (image right) with the newspaper name listed alongside the journalist's name.

The second press pass (image left) has the newspaper's logo along with the journalist's name. Both passes include the journalist's photo and, if desired, a punch hole at the top which works with bulldog-style attachment clips.

The vertical press passes measure 2 1/8" x 3 3/8" (standard ID size) and can either be printed at no cost by ONMA member papers or ordered as a professionally laminated plastic ID through the ONMA.

If purchased through the ONMA, the price for each ONMA templated press pass is $15. The price to create a press pass with your newspaper's masthead is $15 per pass plus a one-time $30 set-up fee. The plastic passes are valid for 4 years from purchase.

• To print your own passes, log into the member-only section of the ONMA website and download the desired press pass template. The templates are in the PDF format and can be edited using either Adobe Acrobat Pro or Adobe Illustrator.
