The Clermont Sun has an immediate opening for the position of Sports Editor. If you love high school sports, are enthusiastic, able to work independently – yet contribute as part of a team - this may be the position for you. We are looking for a sports journalist to join our award-winning weekly publication. This is not a desk job – it’s feet on the ground covering the best of Clermont County! Preferred candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in journalism, and experience covering sports. However, recent graduates with intern or high school experience are encouraged to apply, as this is an excellent opportunity to gain experience while learning the newspaper business. Working knowledge of AP Style, and Social Media Platforms are required. Champion Media offers a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, paid sick leave and vacation time.
