The Putnam Sentinel
The award-winning weekly Putnam Sentinel, based in Ottawa, Ohio, is looking for a full-time Managing Editor. The right candidate will have a passion for telling the county’s stories across all print and digital platforms. The candidate will have excellent writing and communication skills, be interested in community involvement, and be able to work flexible hours including some nights and weekends. The Managing Editor will also oversee publication of the Ada Herald and the Columbus Grove Vidette. The position will include reporting on government and school board meetings and breaking news, while assigning stories to correspondents when needed. The Managing Editor needs to live in the Ottawa, Ohio, area. Ottawa is a great place to live and work and is located 30 minutes west of Findlay, Ohio.

- Education: Associates Degree (Preferred).
- Experience: Writing skills: 2 years (Preferred), Journalism or related: 1 year (Required).
