Two veteran Dispatch journalists celebrated, promoted
We celebrated the careers of two veteran journalists last week.
Business Editor Ron Carter and copy editor Bill McCullick have left us for new adventures in retirement.
And reporter Jim Weiker, who you know from the At Home and Business pages, will become the new Business Editor.
McCullick’s last shift will end about the time you’re heading to bed tonight. As is the case for most copy editors, he worked nights for much of the past 18 years editing stories, writing headlines and photo captions and helping put together the various elements that make up each page of the paper.
