The Mount Vernon News is looking to fill the position of Sports Editor. The ideal candidate will have a passion for covering local sporting events, from youth to senior leagues as well as non-traditional sports. He or she must have experience with writing and editing sports stories and feature articles, managing schedules and personnel, photography and meeting deadlines. Page layout using Quark Xpress is preferred. Availability on nights and weekends is required.
